Shasha came to us recently from the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter. She was an owner surrender. We’re told that she did live with other dogs, but currently she is still decompressing, so we have not had her meet other dogs (yet). She was not doing well in the shelter, she was guarded and very, very scared. She didn’t like to be handled much. We couldn’t bare to leave her there, knowing she had a home and was loved!! We knew that she was just scared and didn’t know what was going on.
Shasha has been in foster for about a month and has made leaps and bounds in her decompression period! She enjoys being pet, going for walks and playing with her toys!! Shasha had her first adoption event at Pet Supplies Plus on Sunday, Feb 2nd – and she was a ROCKSTAR!! She let the ladies pet her, she was comfortable around smaller female dogs too!! And most of all, she looks HAPPY! Shasha still has work to do, but she is housetrained, crate trained and knows basic commands. If you’d like to give this sweet, sweet girl the forever home that she deserves, please fill out our adoption application today!!
