Pawlie
Paulie came from the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter, where he was just breaking down tremendously. He’s a 76lb shy boy who needs confidence building and time to to understand that the world isn’t a scary place. We are unsure of his history, but he’s a smart boy who loves his people. Once he trusts you, you are his world. He doesn’t need a crate, he’s housetrained and working on leash skills. He’s a strong boy who just needs an owner who will go slow with him and build a trusting bond. He has been great with visitors in his foster home. Once he has a few minutes, you can find him with his head in your lap. He is also great around the toddler grandson. At this time, Pawlie would prefer to be the only dog in the home, as he is still adjusting to life outside of the shelter.
