Honey

Meet Honey! Honey is a ONE year old girl who was surrendered to us when she didn’t live up to the adopters expectations. (Right?) Honey is a petite little girl, about 43lbs. She’s high energy and a snuggler all rolled into one tiny package! She LOVES kids!! But she HATES cats. Honey would do best in either a only dog home or with a dog who matches well with her after the alloted shutdown decompression time. It takes her a minute to warm up to them. She currently lives with a small dog who doesn’t care for her and a large Husky – who she gets along great with. Honey will follow your kids around ALL DAY LONGĀ  then snuggle up to take a nap. She needs to work on her leash manners though – she gets SUPER excited and can sound intimidating (like a Hyena) When she’s not screaming like a Hyena with excitement, she snorts like a little pig when she’s playing with the kids. Honey is crate trained, and has zero accidents in the foster home. Due to her still having lots of puppy energy, a home with a fenced yard is best. She can be walked daily as well, but will need an owner who will devote some time to leash training as she was never walked much prior to coming to rescue. If you are looking for a pretty little pitty, Honey is your girl.
