Gin

Gin, aka: GinGin, GinnyGin, Goofball. Gin is a 2 and half year old bully mix with an adorable underbite!  Gin was saved in the 11th hour from a high kill shelter in GA and spent 5 months in boarding while we secured a foster here in Buffalo. He wanted nothing more than to be with people and our big guy Hankie. He absolutely loves our 3 kids ages 9, 7, 5 and tolerates all of their shenanigans that kids do. His favorite is to snuggle them when they go to bed. We don’t have a cat, so we don’t know how he would act around one, but we do have chickens and from day one has not even tried to chase one yet. He even comes out with me when I do my chores with them and pays them no mind. He takes treats like a gentleman and we have been working with him on basic commands such as sit, down, touch, leave it and come when called. He is extremely smart, eager to learn and food motivated. We don’t walk him much on leash as we live on a small farm, but I have no doubt he will be a quick study and will be a great partner on walks or even runs. He has a lot of energy and is a very social boy, so would do best with another dog in the house and an active family. He has been doing pretty well with house training, but will have the occasional accident in the house. He is also very motivated to be with his people so if there is a chain link fence he has been known to be a Houdini and escape, if you are on the other side. Gin is overall an amazing guy and who could resist that underbite and 2 different colored eyes, seriously.
