Cinnamon Toast

Meet Cinnamon Toast Crunch! She is a pitbull mix and is estimated to be about 8 months old. Cinnamon is 65 pounds and still growing and will likely be on the larger side when fully grown. She walks well on a leash, but like any puppy does have her moments. She can easily be brought back to attention with a treat! She is highly food motivated and will happily work for her food/treats. She does have very sensitive skin that may require a special shampoo throughout her life to keep it healthy, she enjoys bath time very much and jumps in the tub willingly. She is great with dogs and cats, but has earned the nickname “Bulldozer” because she doesn’t understand her size. A home with small pets probably wouldn’t be best for her large size and overly loving spirit that she is all too willing to share, in her mind she is baby. She also would do great in a home without other animals, she loves her squeaky toys and can keep herself busy for hours tossing them around and chewing on them.

As you can see from her early photos when we pulled her from the city shelter, her skin was one raging infection! She was stinky and itchy and bleeding! The poor girl was just left on the streets to fend for herself for who knows how long, and she was STILL SO LOVING!! She’s been with us for a few months now, we’ve gotten her skin mostly under control, but she will need a high grade food and specialty shampoo probably for her entire life, but what girl doesn’t enjoy a relaxing bubble bath?? Am I right? She will be a big girl, she’s already 65lbs…so little kids beware, she doesn’t realize her size…hence her nickname The Bulldozer….if you think that you’d be a good fit for this beauty, who deserves the best that life has never offered her, please let us know…
