Meet Bo Dewey – he’s an approx. 2 year old Pit Bull Mix. Bo is up to date on all vaccines and he’s recently been neutered. When we were contacted by a local shelter, we knew we had to do something to help him! Bo wasn’t showing well there at all and kept getting passed over. Once we had a foster for him, we had the meet and greet with the foster’s two little girls and their female Pit Mix. It went better than we expected, so we brought him into our rescue.
After the two week shutdown period, that allowed Bo to decompress, relax and begin to trust his new humans, we got to see the “Real” Bo…he’s a big, goofy, cuddly boy who loves to play and make everyone laugh. He’s very appropriate with the children and takes great correction from their female dog. Mostly he just wants to play and show everyone what a good boy he is.
Bo is house trained and crate trained. A home with experience with large dogs is preferred as he’s a BIG, strong boy. He will also need to his training to be kept up on. If anyone is interested, we have videos of Bo playing the foster’s children. He loves being outside and has even learned to ignore the little yippy dogs that live next door.
